Right Side Up Materials

Gravitropism is a turning by a plant in response to gravity. Charles Darwin was one the first to scientifically document that roots show positive gravitropism and stems show negative gravitropism. This lab uses bean seeds to replicate this idea and demonstrate both concepts.

Demo Pack includes:  bean seedling in pot, sheet of plastic wrap, rubber band, 5" tart pan, 10 bean seeds, 2 plastic 12-oz cups, 2 paper towels

Study Group Pack includes:  4 bean seedlings in pots, 4 sheets of plastic wrap, 4 rubber bands, 4 5" tart pans, 40 bean seeds, 8 plastic 12-oz cups, 8 paper towels

Classroom Pack includes:  10 bean seedlings in pots, 10 sheets of plastic wrap, 10 rubber bands, 10 5" tart pans, 100 bean seeds, 20 plastic 12-oz cups, 20 paper towels
