Adaptable Electron PDF

The kids will use a D cell battery in a clip, 3 test leads, and a 1.5 volt light bulb in a socket to assemble a simple circuit that they will use to demonstrate that electrical energy can be converted to light, heat, sound, motion, and magnetic fields. As the kids collect data using different materials they will begin to formulate a “law” of energy transfer which they will support using their data. Grades 5-8
