- Squished Fish & Clues to Climate Change PDF
Product Description
This item contains only the instructions to perform this activity. This lab presents the idea that data collected from layers of rock suggest that climates have changed over time. The students examine a list of fossils found in Wyoming and plot the high and low temperatures, humidity, and average rainfall of Wyoming and Louisiana to show how land masses have slowly moved over millions of years. The kids can also make a rubbing of fossil fish fragments collected in the Green River Formation of Wyoming. Grades 5-8
