Gulping Goldfish PDF

This lab takes a look at thermal pollution, and what happens to plant and animal life when heated water is dumped into a waterway by industrial businesses. The kids are going to place a goldfish in a baggie and slowly heat the water in the baggie. By counting the number of breaths the fish takes, you can infer the availability of oxygen in the water. No animals are harmed in the performance of this lab.
