Magnetic Field Orienteering Materials

Explores the idea that magnets are surrounded by an invisible magnetic field that influences some metal objects, like compasses. If you map the compass needle position as you move it around a magnet, you will be able to see the magnetic lines of force start to appear. By connecting the compass needle markings, you can create a map of the magnetic field.
