Erosion Boxes PDF

An introduction to the process of erosion by water and how we believe it creates landforms like the Grand Canyon. The kids will assemble an erosion box and drip water through sand to see how the water transports the sand from inside the box to a cookie sheet below. The canyon-like features will then be correlated to real-life examples. Grades 5-8
