- Electrical Conductivity Tester Materials
Product Description
Conductors allow the free flow of electrons, while insulators do not. This lab will give the kids an opportunity to build a circuit that allows them to sort materials as conductors or insulators. To do this, the kids will use a D cell battery in a clip, 3 test leads and a 1.5 volt light in a socket to assemble a simple circuit used to test different kinds of materials. They will begin to formulate a “law” of conductivity which they will support using their data.
Demo Pack includes: D battery in clip, 3 alligator clips, 1.5-volt bulb in socket.
Study Group Pack includes: 4 D batteries in clips, 12 alligator clips, 4 1.5-volt bulbs in sockets.
Classroom Pack includes: 10 D batteries in clips, 30 alligator clips, 10 1.5-volt bulbs in sockets.
