Tub Tints

Small colored tablets that are composed of sodium bicarbonate and citric acid.  Colored with non-staining vegetable dyes to make them appear red, blue, or yellow when dissolved in water.  Used to demonstrate solubility, and to provide a metaphor for the movement of plutons under the surface of the earth.
