Tornado Tube

Classic and entertaining physics demonstration. Two soda bottles are connected via this plastic adapter. One bottle is half full of water, the other is empty. Hold the connected bottles vertically and you can create a vortex that resembles a tornado funnel by rotating the top bottle a couple of times.
