Thermal Moderation PDF

This lab explores heat conduction from a liquid that is in contact with a solid that is in contact with another liquid. Conduction takes place in solids, liquids, and gases, but it only works when two objects are in direct contact with one another. Two metal cans and water are used to illustrate that given enough time, the temperature sharing will continue until the water in both cans are exactly the same temperature.
