- Rubber Eggs & Chicken Legs PDF
Product Description
Chicken bones and fresh eggs will be immersed in vinegar for a period of days. The acetic acid reacts with the calcium carbonate in the bones and eggshells to produce carbon dioxide gas. This produces rubbery chicken bones and squishy eggshells. Gives the kids an opportunity to examine bird bones and figure out that they are very light - a requirement for flight.
