Ring & Dowel

Great way to demonstrate Newton’s First Law. An object at rest will remain at rest … until you master this demo. Place the ring on the top of a 16-20 oz. pop bottle. Balance the dowel on the top of the ring. The challenge is to remove the ring and have the dowel drop directly into the pop bottle. Harder than it sounds.
