Paperclip Polymer Chains PDF

Polymers are long, complex molecules. Because they are long and quite often flexible, we will demonstrate their ability to move and conform using a bag full of water and a couple of bamboo skewers.  
We will then make a model of a polymer chain using paper clips. Each paperclip represents a mer, or group of molecules. When these molecules are hooked together, they become a polymer, or many mers hooked together.
