Heater Meter Materials

Using a ball of wax, attach a paper clip to five different kinds of materials. The ends of these materials will be plunged into a styrofoam cup full of very hot water. Measure how long it takes for the heat to be conducted up the object to the wax, causing the paper clip to fall.
