Product Description
An introduction to shield volcanoes and how they are formed. By mixing aluminum sulfate and sodium bicarbonate, the students will produce a lava flow that illustrates the formation of shield volcanoes and lava flows from volcanic fissures.
Demo/Study Group Pack includes: 1-oz bottle red food coloring, 1-oz bottle yellow food coloring, 1-oz. bottle liquid detergent, 7/8-oz vial sodium bicarbonate, 7/8-oz vial aluminum sulfate powder, 8 4-oz portion cups, 8 craft sticks, 4 tart pans, 1 basalt specimen.
