Finding Ferrous Materials - Materials

Illustrates that objects that contain iron respond to permanent magnets. The kids will explore the idea that a compass can be used to detect the presence of iron in a material, and then go on a scavenger hunt in search of ferrous materials. A basic chemistry and physics lab.
