Desert Sponge PDF

This lab takes a peek at the adaptations animals have made to survive in the desert. The kids will explore water storage, temperature management, and predator and reproductive strategies that have evolved to allow the animals to thrive. They will then create their own desert sponge animals and see which ones are best equipped to survive in the harsh desert environment.
