In this experiment an aquarium is divided down the middle. One side is filled with cold water, the other hot. When the divider is removed, the water from the two halves mix and produce an interesting effect that can be used to explain the occurrence of clouds and wind, the ability of hot air balloons to function, and a host of other phenomena.
