Pyrite Sun

Product Description

Collected in the coal mine of Illinois and Indiana, these puddles of pyrite form in the coal seams of the large midwestern deposits and are found in layers when the coal is excavated. Used for displays only, much too nice to be dragging around a streak plate and soaking in acid.  Approximately 3" in diameter.
