Product Description
Formed in sandstone deposits found in Southern Utah. Moqui (pronounced mow-key) marbles are iron concretions consisting of a hematite shell filled with sandstone. Similar specimens, nick named "blueberries" by NASA scientists, were found on Mars by the Opportunity rover in the Cape York region of the Endeavour Crater.
