A classic polymer chemistry experiment. One ounce of Polyvinyl alcohol is mixed with 3 milliliters of sodium tetraborate. When the two are stirred together for 30 seconds, the molecules cross-link, forming a gooey, slimy, viscous web of liquid that is the quintessential “slime” of our time.
