Baking Soda Balloons Materials

Great lab to teach conservation of mass during a chemical reaction. Vinegar is placed in a balloon, which is fixed over a test tube with baking soda. The assemblage is weighed before and after the chemicals are mixed, and the masses are compared with one another.

Demo Pack includes 7/8 oz. sodium bicarbonate, 1 oz. acetic acid, 20 x 150 test tube, 9" balloon, and 12-oz. plastic cup. 

Study Group Pack includes 4 7/8-oz. sodium bicarbonate, 4 1-oz. acetic acid, 4 20 x 150 test tubes, 4 9" balloons, and 4 12-oz. plastic cups. 

Classroom Pack includes 10-pack 7/8 oz. sodium bicarbonate, 10-pack 1 oz. acetic acid, 10 20 x 150 test tubes, 10 9" balloons, and 10 12-oz. plastic cups.  

Party Pack includes 16 oz. sodium bicarbonate, 1 gallon acetic acid, 40 20 x 150 test tubes, 40 9" balloons, and 40 12-oz. plastic cups.
